In the fast-paced world of AI art generation, competition is fierce as new tools constantly emerge, each striving to outdo the others. Ideogram, a free AI art generator, has been touted by some as a potential “Midjourney killer.” Meanwhile, Midjourney itself is back in the spotlight with a renewed free trial offer—allowing 25 image generations before a subscription is required.
Another notable contender making headlines is Flux.1, an AI art generator I haven’t had the chance to explore yet, but I’m eager to test it out and share my experience on YouTube soon.
On the tools front, LTX Studio has piqued my interest as it offers a suite of resources similar to RunwayML. Although I initially missed out on early access, the good news is that it’s now available to the public. Luma Labs has made some improvements to their video genarations. Hotshot is another new video tool that compares itself to SORA, the demo videos look really good.
As regular readers of my blog will know, Leonardo AI has been my go-to tool for AI art. The recent acquisition of Leonardo by Canva is an exciting development. Canva’s commitment to investing in AI is clear, and with their backing, Leonardo is poised for significant enhancements. I’m particularly excited about the prospect of seeing Leonardo models seamlessly integrated into Canva’s platform, potentially bringing some fantastic new features to the Leonardo app.
My latest project is a music video, a natural progression from my experiments with AI music generators like Suno and Udio. After creating some tracks with Suno, I decided to pair them with visuals, generating images that complement the music. These are being compiled into a slideshow video that I’ll be sharing on YouTube.
For one of the songs, I’ve taken things a step further by using RunwayML to create actual video clips, complete with a virtual singer. I’m currently fine-tuning this project, particularly experimenting with the lip sync feature to ensure everything aligns perfectly.
Keep an eye on my Facebook and YouTube channels for the upcoming video releases. And once this project is wrapped up, I plan to dive into what I can achieve with LTX Studio.
Humanoid robots are quite literally coming on leaps and bounds, like Unitree, Tesla, Boston Dynamics Atlas, and the Chinese are investing a lot into humanoid robots. Will we see robots in our homes like i-robot in the near future? Maybe in a future feature I will explore this
